During March and April, we focused on accelerating UI development, expanding the component ecosystem, and strengthening AI-driven workflows. These updates continue to move Watson towards a more scalable, automated, and consistent experience across Web and Mobile.
React Native library release in Figma
The React Native design library is now live in Figma, giving teams a solid starting point for mobile design using Watson.
It already includes key components such as Avatar, Button, Card, Pagination, and more, enabling early adoption in mobile flows.
This is still a work in progress: not all components are fully implemented in code yet. To keep things clear, each component includes its implementation status, and a full overview is available in the documentation portal.
Mobile (React Native) Updates
Code Library Evolution
The React Native library continues to expand with new components and improvements, helping teams build mobile experiences aligned with Watson.
We have introduced components like WFeedback, WBadge, WPagination, WAvatar, WTile, WToolbar, WCheckbox and WCard.
Web component Updates
Watson Studio in Golden Path
Watson Studio is now part of the Golden Path for Product Features, enabling teams to generate feature UIs in minutes. By pasting a Figma link into Claude Code, the system builds interfaces using Watson components via the Figma MCP.
Agent Reviewer
A new internal agent automatically reviews changes in Watson, helping ensure quality, consistency, and alignment across contributions.
Calendar Component
The Calendar component is now ready and will be available to all Watson React consumers, supporting date-based use cases across products.
Carousel Utility Component
A new utility component allows teams to easily build carousels using any React components, increasing flexibility when creating scrollable layouts.
Button & IconButton: New available sizes!
New sizes have been added for the different types of buttons available in Watson. From now on, Button will have sizes small/medium/large and IconButton will have sizes small/medium.
IconButton variants
IconButton now offers new variants in addition to its default variant. It now also supports Accent and Danger variants, providing greater flexibility for user interfaces and their use.
Secondary texts in Navigation items
In addition to their standard elements, navigation items now support secondary text. This text is intended to provide a description of the navigation nodes, helping users understand the context better.
Tags in Combobox
The combobox now has the ability to display its contents as tags and assign color codes to them based on their relevance within the interface.
This feature will be available in the code soon.
New icons added to libraries
During this period, our libraries have been enriched with the addition of a new icon: tiktok-circle.
Find it in Figma and code libraries.
